As a Montezuma County Commissioner serving my eighth year, and currently Chairman of the Board, I am proud to endorse Naomi Riess for House District 59.

My family has been rooted in Montezuma County for generations. I spent 30 years in the fire service, own my own business, and today my wife and I enjoy hobby farming. Through all of this, I’ve gained a deep understanding of land use, rural life, and the importance of listening to the people I represent.

I can tell you that Naomi Riess shares the conservative values that matter to our communities. She understands the challenges we face here in Southwest Colorado and is committed to working with the entire community to find practical solutions.

What stands out to me most is Naomi’s willingness to listen and her determination to get things done. She has the ability to represent our district effectively and make sure our voices are heard at the State Capitol. Naomi knows how to get us in the room, be part of the conversation, and work toward real, meaningful results.
